Our goal is for every student, parent and staff member to love being a part of our school community. Staff are committed to making connections and engaging positively with students each day. Staff continue to learn and develop knowledge regarding trauma and how trauma informs our practice. Wellness for students and staff is a priority, especially during these trying times. Teaching is intentional and flexible, utilizing resources that appeal to our strengths and reflect the culture of our students, our school and our communities. We promote the love of reading by engaging in a variety of reading practices, school wide challenges, parent involvement activities and home programs. Tuesday, November 17 th at 5:00 Connected North Session: Bully CSI- Critical Steps to Intervention This parent session illuminates various ways that bullying can be identified. All forms of bullying, including cyberbullying, affect all people in the bullying circle: target, bully, followers and bystanders. Adults attending this session learn simple ways to reduce bullying and how to encourage students to report bullying. Adults leave with a better understanding of how they impact the lives of the youth with which they interact.
